Alongside my broadcasting work, I began Buddhist meditation 20 years ago studying with the
Forest Sangha tradition and the Tibetan teachers at Samye Ling, Scotland. In the intervening
years, I also spent 10 years exploring the world of Ayahuasca with a teacher in Brazil. I studied
integrative psychotherapy for 6 years at the Minster Centre, London and now work as an
accredited UKCP psychotherapist in Brighton, UK.
My studies with the American dharma teacher Reggie Ray deepened my understanding of the
somatic field and since 2004 my organisation Mindsprings has been promoting the use of
meditation in therapeutic ways. We run course online, and hold retreats and course across Europe.
