Bhavana Chiranjay

An Ex-Indian Army Officer from the Corps of Engineers (Madras Sappers). She retired in 2009 after 9 years of service with the Indian Army. She has trained women and gentlemen cadets (Officer Cadre) of the Indian Army at Officers Training Academy, Chennai, in Basic Military Training, and has also trained other ranks of the Indian Army at Madras Engineer Group and Centre, Bangalore, in Combat Engineering. Maj Bhavana has been a volunteer from 2010, with Prajwala Hyderabad, an NGO that has been working in the field of Anti Human Trafficking for the last 2 decades plus, and Swakshatra attempts to use this learning in its anti-trafficking initiatives in the future.
