Colin Skelton

As an applied theatre and design thinking facilitator, I help teams and organisations activate conversations, interactions, data, ideas and innovation concepts through physicality, storytelling, play and other creative mechanisms. I apply principles and practices from the theatre and the creatives arts, to explore human-centric approaches to team innovation, online engagement and empathic innovation. In our new world of online-intense engagements, the intentional use of physicality might seem amiss. I believe the possibilities to engage in creative and embodied ways, that 'spill' outside the confines of our screens, are both endless and essential. Combining physical and digital modes of engagement could also greatly enhance the growth of desired online culture, psychological safety and creativity. I have discovered that these perspectives and approaches to creative collaboration help foster increased empathy, intuition and creative confidence.
