Longevity Through Balance: A Daoist Approach to Physical Training

Craig Mallett is an instructor of a traditional school of Daoism, called Da Xuan. Not being bound by a specific culture or religion, the Da Xuan tradition invites us to explore, understand and balance our universal human functions through a daily practice of body, breath and mind. It offers a wide variety of tools and practices to help our exploration: physical training, martial arts, qi gong, breathwork, internal alchemy and meditation to name but a few. Along with his understanding of traditional Daoism, Craig has more than 15 years of experience through a wide field of self-cultivation and physical practices including other martial arts, bodyweight strength training, natural movement, stretching and more. This allows him to teach with clear context; his emphasis on simplicity and clarity in training allows students to engage with deep topics of self-cultivation without unnecessary confusion.
