Darren Ferguson (born in Belfast) is a musician, poet, arts champion, and peace activist. Having volunteered in development aid work through various agencies in Romania and The Gambia for over a decade, Darren began workshop for Concern Worldwide. In 2004 galvanizing his knowledge and skills gained through the music industry as a recording artist and development aid & global education work, Darren founded the organization Beyond Skin.
Beyond Skin sets out to enable the Arts as the dialogue to assist the development of a more peaceful, equal and intercultural society free from racism & sectarianism. Through Beyond Skin, surrounding himself with a diverse team of people and networks with the skills needed, Darren has helped establish and deliver 100’s projects that expands beyond Northern Ireland collaborating to date with 27 countries. The international work led to the co-founding of ArtsDialogue an international team of musicians, artists, producers, writers & peace activists.
