Deane Juhan

Deane Juhan is the author of Job's Body: A Handbook for Bodywork and Touched by the Goddess: The Physical, Psychological and Spiritual Powers of Bodywork.

In 1974 he began his training, practice and teaching career at Esalen Institute, where he was in residence for 19 years.

He was one of Dr. Milton Trager's initial students, personally studying with him for 24 years, and becoming a practitioner and instructor of The Trager Approach. Deane has taught Dr. Trager's work and anatomy, physiology, neurology, and psychology of bodywork throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Japan for nearly 50 years.

He currently resides and has a private practice in the San Francisco Bay area.
