"MOVEMENT SAVED MY LIFE"

Is movement a physical practice or a mental practice? In this case, it's both and beyond

Emily is podcast host and producer of Tackling Minds and Jit Chat Podcast, after accumulating a wealth of experience in business development, education, coaching, performing arts and fighting cancer - technically all within the realm of health & fitness since 2004. Her living and working experience extends through 4 continents, previously based in the US, Hong Kong, Dubai, Singapore, Spain and currently in Malaysia. Right before she was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, Emily had just finished a hosting gig at the Arnold's Sports Festival in Melbourne, Australia before returning to her job in Spain. Although her career was mainly in training & business development, Emily never stopped learning and upholding standards of teaching. She is a senior course instructor for TRX training, master instructor for Pavigym with similar experiences for the International Pole Dance Fitness Association and MET training, maintained teaching fitness classes of all sorts including aerial arts, pole and movement, while training necessarily with the Asia-based modern circus troupe Viva Circus. Although she has certifications in coaching MMA athletes, boxing fitness and parkour, Emily prefers to keep these practices purely for lifelong growth as a hungry student. Podcast host and producer are recent titles earned while fighting Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and recovering from a bone marrow transplant. She believes in the power of struggles and aims to cultivate healthier discussions around mental wellness and resilience. More than ever now, Emily is dying to live.
