Carving your own path in the fitness industry

Cycling through different sports and martial arts as a kid, diversity was always important in my training. I found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 13 years ago, and continued to look for ways to develop my physical ability. I dove into training kettlebells, crossfit and calisthenics at their early stages. I would ultimately stumble into the movement realm where I would dig my heels in for many years... Evolving as a coach over this time, I wanted to package this diversity for my people. I wanted to create humans who were not only robust and strong, but also free to express themselves. I was not able to find this within the current offerings of the fitness industry. Together with my two partners, Paul and Teora, we set out to create a place where people could train in many disciplines, and not feel restricted by an overly dogmatic culture. A place where people could receive high quality coaching all under the one roof. The culture would need to be inclusive, sustainable and open to evolution Our gym, Jungle Brothers Strength and Movement, was born out of this idea
