Jonathan Fox is the co-founder of Playback Theatre, an applied theatre method now practiced in 70 countries, and founder of the Listening Hour, a new approach to building resilience in times of crisis. He graduated from Harvard University, where he studied oral traditional storytelling. He has an MA in political science and a certification in psychodrama and group methods. In 2008 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Kassel in Germany for his artistic and scholarly contribution to theatre. He is the author of Acts of Service: Spontaneity, Commitment, Tradition in the Nonscripted Theatre and Beyond Theatre: a playback theatre memoir; and editor of The Essential Moreno: Writings on Spontaneity, Psychodrama and Group Method
