Kappy Laning

Kappy is an Integrative Breathworker, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, English and Contra dance caller, musician and dancer, event organizer, mother, and friend. She began her exploration of breathwork in 2001 when she began to take courses with Jessica Dibb at Inspiration Community, and became a certified breathworker in 2010. Breathwork clients are children, teens, adults, couples and groups. Her practice is in the Washington DC area. She is especially interested in helping others to heal from early developmental challenges and trauma, preparing new fathers and mothers for birth and parenting, and integrating conscious breathing practices into western medicine approaches to care.
