Panel: Moving Metaphors: Art as Refuge on the Dance Floor

An inquiry with Servants of the Muse: Morag Donnelly, Emory M. Moore, Tess Howell and Martha Peabody.

To create art in any form with freedom and non-judgement is inherently health giving. It can offer a way of bringing us into the present moment and restoring our feelings of belonging. A Body and presence centred movement & drawing practice devoted to liberating unique flow through compassion, love and reverence for life. She is a passionate encourager of creativity for all, and has been guiding children and adults across the UK and Europe for over a decade. As a dancer of the 5 rhythms and other movement forms for over 20 years, Morag facilitated with the DancingTao collective and organised/supported for over 3 years a brilliant growing group of creators of art for the Dtao dance floors. Currently in continued collaboration with Christa Cocciole of 'Radical Presence' Berlin and their co-created work ‘Resonant souls’- movement & relationship offering. Morags teaching is additionally informed and supported by her training in therapeutic sexual somatic practices along with a multitude of other touch and energy healing modalities.
