Embodied Art Activism: My Body as the Valley

Drawing from her dance background, combined with doing research on traditional dances and rituals from India to Central Asia, she began her path into somatic studies - movement and therapy. In 2002 she founded the DanceLab studio in Prague, where she teaches somatically oriented movement and holds a private therapeutic institute. Since 2006 she directs an NGO Open field, originally focused on cultural dance exchange and events, currently serving as a Somatic educational platform. In 2012 she created a somatic educational program CONSCIOUS BODY which is opening every year for 15-20 students. As a Dance Movement Therapist, she is working since 2015 with Parkinson patients under Parkinson-Help, Prague as well as with adult clients with various issues. Between 2012-17 she has been teaching Laban Movement Analysis at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden. In 2018 together with Smadar Emor from Synapsa center Israel they have established a three year program BODYVOICE (Voice in Movement Integration) in Prague.
