Social partner dance is a powerful tool for developing authentic connection, presence, and effective, compassionate communication within a community, as well as a social diversion, full body workout, and intelligence improving activity. In this presentation, participants will see how integrating partnered movement practices into their relationships, community, work place and society at large can support a fully integrated human experience of mind, body and spirit. When practiced with integrity, impeccability and non-attachment, we can develop resilient group bonds and come into a functional, and deeply gratifying symbiosis with one another. Bringing a practice of partner dance into one’s life and community holds immense power to support connection, co-regulation, develop trust between individuals, heal wound patterns around physical touch by replacing them with healthy ones, entrain adept psycho-somatic as well as verbal communication skills, and inspire collaborative action vital for the healthy functioning of a whole organism.
