A search for the origin of disembodiment.

Taveling back in time, our western civilisation was not always as detached from the body as we tend to be nowadays. In this presentation Alina Röder will take you on a journey, following the search of philosophers and scientist to find an answer on 'what is human consciousness and how is it related to the human body?'. Refering to different studies, she will point out some possible reasons why we sometimes forget our body and why it could be good to stop doing so.
