In today's studio yoga environment, it is difficult to know a student's trauma history. Common used yoga postures, cues, or language may unintentionally cause a student to be triggered, thus potentially leading them to never try yoga again. We as yoga teachers and practitioners know the value of yoga in reducing stress and anxiety - and causing student's anxiety and stress during the yoga practice can be avoided by implementing tools learned during this session. Participants will leave feeling more confident in their own teaching ability, including an increased level of understanding on how to better connect with yoga student no matter their own trauma history.
