Shaking Medicine for Beginners

Dr. Keith Motes is a quantum physicist from Louisiana, USA. He moved to Australia to do his PhD completing it at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia on quantum computing technologies. He is now a dual citizen of Australia and the USA. He embodies and teaches Yoga, Neidan (Taoist Yoga including Qi Gong) and more going full circle to learn about energy from both the intellectual and the experiential. From these learnings and experiences, he was really touched by spontaneous therapeutic shaking. After many journeys, trials and tribulations Dr. Motes founded the Shaking Medicine Foundation based at ShakingMedicine.com, which has the resources anyone needs to remember their innate wisdom of spontaneous therapeutic shaking as well as for practitioners to learn to share Shaking Medicine. Through all of this Dr. Motes became passionate about all things related to physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health learning from science, various health and well-being traditions, indigenous cultures and his own experience. Some of Keith’s favourite current hobbies are Yoga, Qi Gong, Acro Yoga, Dragon Staff, Dance, Running, Breathing, Tantra, Kriya and of course Shaking! He is currently on a break from the strongly head-minded world of hard-core academia, while deepening in his embodiment practices and delivering this holistic approach to health and well-being of Shaking Medicine out to the world.
