Discipline of Authentic Movement: A Path Toward Witness Consciousness

This session will be a weaving of practice, shared inquiry, and seminar focused on the Discipline of Authentic Movement as it has evolved through Janet Adler’s decades-long embodied inquiry with students. Central to this path of practice is the emergent and transformative process of the inner witness developing within the relationship of mover and outer witness. Joining Paula will be Nina Kungurova, a teacher of the Discipline of Authentic Movement in Russia. This presentation/workshop will be of special interest to those with some experience in Authentic Movement and/or who have some experience of being witnessed.
