Have you ever seen an ad for a yoga, dance, or tantric workshop and thought, “They don’t look like me”? Or maybe you’ve thought, “I’d love to learn improv, present at a conference, or [fill in the blank]”, but didn’t because you felt your body would not be welcome? All bodies love to move, stretch, be touched, and feel good - whatever their age, ability, ethnicity, gender, size, etc. But many bodies don’t even know that’s an option. If you don’t know what embodiment is - if you’ve never been welcomed into the game or know anyone on the team - how would you know how to play? Embodiment is for Every Body, and that’s why we’re here – to start a conversation about who isn’t here, the bodies that don’t know the joys of embodiment (or even what it is), and how we can make space so that all bodies are invited to the table.
