Relationships that were once full of joy and hope, connection and love can erode gradually or through specific events to ones that are full of disconnection, despair, tension and wariness. By harnessing the power of emotion EFT has the potential, through specific stages and moves, to reconnect the distressed couple. Expanding our ‘knowing’ of ourselves, our partner and our impact on each other, and getting out of the negative cycles that have become all too familiar, is the foundation for deeper healing for each person and their relationship. EFT therapists are midwives of relationship transformation through their role as process consultants, validating and normalising seemingly irrational feelings and actions, offering relentless empathy, and working within the window of tolerance to move into and through emotion. This talk will invite you to connect emotionally, at a level appropriate for you, as well as presenting theory and case examples.
