Our minds are mindblowing, incredible at planning, reflecting, analysing and strategising. They adapt as we learn and process thousands of pieces on information a day. And we can over-rely on them as 'the' source of all solutions. Or worse we end up in a swirling thought mess that doesn't get us where we want to be. If you are a thinker, planner, intellectual or analyst, if you are a 'get shit done' kinda person who just knows that there are more ways than one to navigate life but want some tips and tricks for that, or if you are just a bit mind-tired and want to give the brain a break, THIS workshop is for YOU.
Learn some skills to notice what else your body is telling you, to connect with how emotions show up in your body and WTF to do with them when they do and to harness a little more wisdom.
We will use breath, movement, sound and touch as tools for this workshop. Bring yourself , an open mind and a willingness to do some work.
At the HEART of Cat's work is collaboration and community, we do this work together because we are community beings. It is both powerful and somehow easier to work that way (even for the introverts in the crowd). We learn from one another and then we take that learning out into the world so others can learn from us and so it goes around. The intention for this session is that we will do the work together.
