Intergenerational, community and family dance is a way of expressing yourself and connecting with humans from any or all generations. This session is a joyous exploration of the concept of ‘Bubbles’: literal, metaphorical and magical, with help from families and Helpers from Oxford Youth Dance who danced with Elly throughout lockdown on Zoom. Whilst aimed at families, or for those who work with children and families, Elly uses the same language, themes and scores when working with teenagers, adults and children as well as those with special educational or behavioural needs; finding commonalities in language and subtly adapting or translating the movements or themes depending on the audience. Come and play with us and rediscover the joy of movement!
