Learn to assess sexual behaviours and react to them in a structured way

Sexual behaviour in children is often perplexing for adults: many of us adults had little chance to learn healthy reactions from our elders in our sexuality development, some of us were exposed to various traumatic events around sexuality, and child sexuality is a generally highly tabooed area that adds up to complexity. How to process our own emotions and body responses when encountering (unexpected) child behaviour that is ranging from curious to transgressive? What should and should not be acceptable in child sexuality, and what are the criteria? When and how to react to child sexual behaviour in a helpful way? We will discuss it with the help of embodiment practices and a concise insight into child sexual behaviour assessing tool Flag System developed by Sensoa sexual health organisation in Belgium and used worldwide. The participants will learn to assign a safety flag to a range of sexual behaviours and to react to them in a structured way.
