Trauma becomes PTSD when we are unable to process the emotions and physiology of the trauma in the moment. What is not experienced in the moment and then released ends up stored in the body and psyche to develop as illness and pain. Our disconnected parts become the sand in the gears sabotaging our lives.
For 40 years, Owen Marcus -- and now, with the support of EVRYMAN, a men’s wellness platform – has pursued a straightforward method of using others to heal PTSD. Applying the physiology of trauma, EVRYMAN created a process where other men utilize emotional connection to unwind decades of PTSD. We will explore how to use this model in your life and with your clients.
