Shadows of Personal Growth Culture

Come here to playfully and tenaciously examine our sacred cows of the spiritual marketplace—healing trauma, saving the world, the evolution of consciousness, collective intelligence, emergence, manifesting, “the platinum rule”, welcoming everything, safe spaces, ego-eradication, the role of spiritual diversity, etc. What’s the relative truth that these cultural values point to, and how do we embody these? How can we go beyond the limitations in these ways of making sense of the world? What other options do we have for a more loving engagement with what it means to ‘human’ together? I will draw from many years and many thousands of hours working with groups, individuals, and of course my own failings and successes in shining the light of awareness on the darkest shadows of personal growth culture. We will very likely break out and practice some as well.
