How personal and collective trauma influences men in their life, relationships and purpose

"Trauma affects us all – whether through personal experiences, growing up with people that suffered from trauma, or by transgenerational and collective transmission. Our nervous systems and bodies are wired for relationality, expressing power and living with empathy. Trauma (whether we are aware of it or not) can disconnect us from these innate capacities. Men often experience this as a split between masculine power and the masculine heart. In this webinar we explore how unintegrated personal and transgenerational experiences of the past shape the way you experience your masculine energy – whether you are a man, woman or fluid in your gender expression. We will look at the differences of masculine and feminine practices for deeper embodiment to help you integrate both power and love, action and relaxation into your life and relationships. We will address how group work and community are vital for men to move beyond shame and isolation. And you may discover that you are ready to outgrow old and worn stereotypes such as being a lonely wolf or judging yourself as overly sensitive. This restores dignity – for men, women and all of our ancestors. While this webinar is focused on mens’ issues and masculine qualities, everybody is invited to participate! The webinar intends to bring collective awareness to how the present is shaped by the past and how trauma affects intimate relationships, family, and the capacity to live with meaning. This understanding can bring deeper connection and a step into a new future."
